Carpe Diem riders on a winning streak in Opglabbeek

OurĀ  Carpe Diem riders made their mark at the Spring Tour in Belgium. Zeta Founta, Patrick Lemmen and Rogier Linssen each collected one or more rosettes. Patrick and Rogier both won a class and kept their form high in the final Grand Prix as well.

A nice third place was the result for our Greek rider Zeta Founta. She set out with Illusion finishing in the third fastest time in the 1.30m on Thursday, whilst making it to seventh place with Risle des Grez in the 1.30 as well. Meanwhile Patrick took second place in the seven-year-olds with Fascinating Fortuna.

On Friday Rogier Linssen jumped to victory with Calumet in the 1.40. Grand Prix qualification, follow closely by Patrick Lemmen and Donanso in second place. Keep their form in the Grand Prix on Sunday both riders finished in the top 10 out of 60 combinations. Rogier managed to take fifth place with Calumet and Patrick placed eight with Donanso.

A good ending to a very successful weekend since both rider took the win earlier on Sunday. Rogier had Calumet on top form in the 1.40m finale and Patrick followed suit in the seven-year-old final with Fascinating Fortuna jumping better than all his peers.
